New birth control....Mylan

My gyno put me on a new birth control, the brand name is "Mylan" and it is a pack of 3 months worth of pills so I only get my period at the end of the third month. I googled the brand name before starting the pill, and I am BARELY finding any results. I am SO confused. It is a levonorgestrel(0.15 mg) and ethinyl estradiol(0.03) pill. Can anyone help me out? Is this just a generic brand for a different birth control...if so, which one? Also, my side effects have been very minimal as of right now! No break-through bleeding, no migranes, no stomach pain, just a decrease in hunger- which isn't a terrible thing for me anyway. Has anyone else been on this pill?

I just got on it myself. Its a generic version of Loestrin Fe. The only kind of birth control I have ever used is Loestrin and it works very well.

Thank you for letting us know that it is a generic version of Loestrin Fe. I also searched for more info on Mylan BC and barely anything shows up. I used to be on Ortho Lo and the generic version of Ortho Lo and I trusted them completely. However, I did have a lot of symptoms with Ortho Lo. I haven't had any symptoms with Mylan at all, I did have some spotting for a day and now I am on the sugar pill (4th day) and still no period. I've been on it for a month and was wondering if anyone else had anything to say about it.
