Newly diagnosed genital herpes simplex 1 need some support ?

Hi all,

Was diagnosed last week with herpes simplex 1 on my genitals only. Horrible outbreak in my groin, vulva, urethra, and now 5 days on around my anus... Is this normal to continue to get more out breaking areas after first noticed rash? I've never had cold sores, only my husband, have never had anything like this before. I'm so sore and feel disgusting ... Any suggestions folks?

      I've started taking a probiotic, my diet pre herpes was good lots of fresh fruit and veggies I'm a type 2 diabetic wonder if that might hinder my immune system a bit

    If you are not on medicatiin, I would suggest getting medication. I was given Acyclovir pills and have type 1 on my genitals too. Only ever had 1 or break. The time in did I was given medication and literally the sore stopped hurting in a day and totally went away in 3 days.

      Thanx, yes I am on antivirals plus antibiotics, lyrica and endone, I'm still getting sore ms around my anus and it has been a week now, does that seem strange?
