I'm a college student with finals so I dont have time to see anyone about this and I'm away from home. Its very frustrating as it itches a lot and can sometimes become very very uncomfortable. To the point where I'm worried I wouldnt be able to sit still through an exam without having to go to the bathroom. It also is painful whenever wiping after a bowel movement or in the shower. If even just water flows through the area it stings and burns. It kind of feels like there are a bunch of tiny cuts in the area. I've had this for a while now and my first two thought were that it may be a rash or simply irratation. I used A&D cream in case it was a rash, kept it very clean, and tried to eliminate wiping in case that caused irratation by always showering quick after a bowel movement. None of that has worked. I've uploaded a picture I was able to take myself to finally see what it looked like and that I had also sent to my mom whose a urology nurse. She's not sure but beleives it may be a yeast infection if that provides any insight. I'd just like second opinions to know what this and what to do. Thank you for your help!

I would suggest buying some Clotrimazole HC [Canesten HC] which is an anti fungal cream with hydrocortisone in it too. Perhaps when you are at home, if you were female, I would say wear a skirt without underwear but you could wear a dressing gown [bathrobe] without underwear, let the air get to your nether regions!
You could also try eating live yoghurt, which also helps.
Let me know if this helps and good luck with your finals! It will probably settle down when you have finished.
