Prochlorperazine. How long before it works?

I have had a UTI. Was perscribed this drug for the nausea that seemed to remain but 3 days on and still feeling sick. I just wondered how long it takes to kick in.

    I think you placed this in the wrong discussion group. Were you rx anything for the UTI?

      The UTI has responded to antibiotics but I have been left witb terrible nausea and doctor has prescribed prochclorperazine to combat it.

      I thouggt I would feel a bit of a difference straight away.

      But I am on second day and dont feel any different.

      Want to know how long they take to kick in.

      How many times a day do you take it? You can take it 3-4 times a day, if you're on 10mg or less. But it shoud also say it on your rx. It should take 1-2 days by day 3 you should feel better.
