Has anyone ever tried quercetin for long term prostatitis? Did you notice a good effect? I suspect my prostatitis could be bacterial as cipro gets rid of symptoms but it just comes back a few weeks after when I finish the course so willing to accept it could be because of the powerful anti inflammatory effect of cipro. Ibuprofen isn't doing too much for me!

Generally it doesn't work. Also cipro is less effective than other drugs in the class most specifically levaquin. Problem is the entire family causes sometimes serious tendon problems including ruptured Achilles. Look at the research on Monurol.

I wonder if self-cathing could help your condition? Once you get that catheter in there,. and drain your bladder, I think you will feel fine? Just keep doing it and with the bladder, being functioning with the help of cathing, there will be no build up of urine in the body. Perhaps, this way, you are not building up toxins in the bladder/body? I'm just guessing.

Quercetin helps 75% of men with chronic prostatitis, that's what the published science says.
