Does this look like Herpes really? I've had these spots come and go for years and have had always safe sex. Except when I was like 16 a long long time ago.

I had these red spots on my penis too, I started like 1 day after I had protected sex( I was using a new condom brand) like I didn't passed any STD test so I'm a bit scared, It got on and off for like 1 month now.I sometimes have fishy smell but like it's one time out of three. Plus, idk if it's because of the Changing weather but when the bumps come out, I feel like my lips are getting dryer faster. Could it be related? And I just wash the head of my penis with soft soap( like dove soap bar) Should I continue to do that or just rince it with water? If anyone have some info on this help me plz

      Hi

You can just wash with water only. It might be some infection which is same as mine. I have the same problem as you for 6 months till now. And feeling sore pain on the penis glans. I've been visited two doctor. One is clinic doctor and another one is specialist sexual services. They mentioned the same fungal or yeast infections. And prescribed me with antibiotics and creams. I've just noticed that try not to sexual active and masturbate during this time of period for around 5 to 8 weeks depends on your situation. Cos I've been sexual active and the problems came back again while it's curing.

just to say, while these things may seem to appear to be the same, ONLY an expert can tell the difference between the different possible causes. That is, you may have a Dermatological reaction going on to something the penis has been exposed to on a regular basis, you may have a skin condition such as a form of Balanitis or the cause could have been sexually transmitted, if you had been sexually active, recently obviously.

The safest thing to do if it is not completely clearing up within 4 or 5 days is to see a Medical Professional, if the cause MAY be related to Sexual Activity, then use barrier methods (condoms) of contraception rather than risk anything ....

As I say above Alexander, symptoms like this can have so many different causes, I can only repeat MOST of what I state above:

.... while these things may seem to appear to be the same, ONLY an expert can tell the difference between the different possible causes. That is, you may have a Dermatological reaction going on to something the penis has been exposed to on a regular basis, you may have a skin condition such as a form of Balanitis or the cause could have been sexually transmitted, if you had been sexually active ... such as a yeast / bacterial infection ....

If you have had this for sometime and you cannot sort it yourself see a Medical Professional or go to a Sexual Health Walk-in Centre .....

Hey Guys, i have the same problem, 6th of october i had just oral sex with my girlfriend, exactly 3 weeks later, on 27th of october this happened - first just red dost, they disappeared in one week, but my penis stayed wrinkled and at the same time "Hirsuties coronae glandis " appeared around my glans, like my penis "has grown to his final look" now, at the age of 21, then i realized she is really promiscuite, so i went to urologists and was tested on all STDs inluding HIV, no one helped me, i was talking to her, she has new boyfriend and he is clean, she is too. Weird thing is that my penis is more red after the shower, there is sensitive skin and the blood supply is more obvious here maybe. So the possibilities are - stress, some little "veins" on ur penis which should be normal, but its hard to believe, some unidentified disease or cancer - ill probably go for a biopsy, if it is clean - f**k it, even its not painful.

      GOOD LUCK BOYS

I've had this problem for a while. fluconazole took left the red lession. AMOXICILLIN got rid of the itching. I'd like to know what are the small red bumps. they started to disapear with amoxicillin for 7 days. Then, they came right back and amoxicillin is not effecting them now. thank you for helping.
