Pain in buttock muscles, knee (with aditional feeling of bubbling on back of thigh) and groin, is this sciatica?

It's possible.  Any pain traveling from the low back or pelvis into the legs is caused by compression of nerves that supply the lower extremities.

Is the pain sharp? Do you have numbness and tingling in the leg?

No numbness, some intermittent tingling, did see a diagram tracing pain from spine across then down leg and also taking a route from spine up around side and down to groin, so it does fit. Knee hurts behind and on top, pain can be sharp and intense the muscles are really sore. Trying to carry on as normal as much as possible, think you find what's comfortable for yourself, hoping it settles down.

Theres a new manual out that can help you eliminate sciatic pain by using natural remedies in as little as 5 to 8 days. It will help your nerves be less sensitive to everyday activities. Check it our here:  j.mp/CureSciatica
