Sertraline and orgasims

Posted , 3 users are following.

I am a 39 year old woman. I have been taking sertraline for 14 years for depression and it works great. But it is very difficult to have an orgasim. I enjoy sex and everything my husband does feels great but I just can't reach that peak. Is there anything else I can take or do to make it easier?

    I am currently suffering the same issue. This is what I have found from a little bit iof online research;

    Alternative antidepressant's less likely to affect ejaculation;

    Bupropion

    Nefazadone

    Mirtazapine

    Or you could try taking Sildenafil (viagra) the increase sensitivity . This didn't resolve the problem for me sadly.

    You need to see your GP to discuss what you are going through. I currently trying to get something ne answers from mine. I have also started a similar discussion here (under Sertraline) and just waiting to see what other sufferers and experts suggest ??

    Good luck & please share any of your findings ! It's driving me up the wall at the moment and destroying my relationship !!
