I fell down a flight of stairs nearly a month ago. I had an x ray of my shoulder and collarbone but the pain is getting worse. Don't know what to do? Surely it should be getting better!

I understand that x-rays do not show soft tissue damage. An MRI may be in order. However, remember that sprained tendons can take 6 to 8 weeks to get better. Definitely get another/a second opinion. Don't let anybody jump to conclusions. A shoulder is a complex thing.
