Slipped disc

Posted , 3 users are following.

I'm 21 and I have just had results back from a MRI scan to say I've got a central disc protusion within L5/S1. Can anyone give me any advise please as I'm worried about this as I'm only young.

Thanks in advance

It's quite common but not normal they will try a range of none invasive treatment s from physo to spinal injection. If the pain is so severe and affects the quality of life , they may consider a discectomy shaving of the disc or partly remove it , which is what I had done on l4/l5 good luck ask to see a neurosurgeon there the best
