The dosage is for adults who can be anything from around seven stone to a lot more. So it would be a safe dose for a seven stone woman. I would think that being a man you probablly weigh more than that and it would be safe to take some more, but I'm no doctor.

Probably, yes, but that is just my opinion, and not being a doctor. Personally, I have found inositol powder (12-18 grams a day) to be by far the best natural alternative to anti depressants. St Johns Wort didn't work for me. If it works for you but you feel you need a bit more, then so long as you have no negative effects, then why not? You are the best judge of what suits your body.

As an alternative - instead of the pills try the St John's Wort tea bags. My partner, tried those, the 'effect' came much quicker. He just found himself wondering 'why am I smiling'!

    Good luck

Be careful with St. John's Wort, it's been proven to cause high blood pressure.

I tried taking them, didn't do anything for me.
