You didn't post how much you're taking but I took 10 mg for couple months an found that if I 5mg in a.m. an 5mg in p.m. I was kinda ok. But in research of generic Lexapro, I found out it is one of the deactivating antidepressants. So alot of Dr prescribe it for anxiety to calm. So I was very sleepy most of time. Eventually began taking 10mg all at night due to so sleepy or fatigued. An gained wt on it. I took it for almost 3 months. Didnt help depression but calmed anxiety, maybe to much. Didnt want to do anything. Everyones different an this drug has helped alot of people. Just not for me. Prozac was absolutely horrible by the way. Aweful aweful side effects. Goodluck!

I'm not sure Don, as I have always taken mine in the morning as advised to by my gp & pharmacist. I read on another of your posts you are feeling paranoid - if you are feeling that bad, i think you should go & see your doctor as soon as possible. most surgeries have a duty doctor for same day urgent appointments.
