Swollen thyroid

Ok so I wrote a couple weeks back about my issues and I was told by you wonderful people to get checked by a specialist because my symptoms sound like I do have a thyroid problem. Well I cant go because I do not qualify for insurance. The 3 jobs I do have none carry insurance because I am considered part time at all of them. But anyways my joints still hurt and are getting worse my anxiety is awful my fog brain is worse and now my voice is very hoarse and I just noticed that my right side i believe on my thyroid gland is getting swollen. I noticed it the other day in a picture and i looked tonight and it is starting to just stick out. I feel like something is always squeezing my throat.

Should I be worried? Or just wait until I can qualify for insurance? Please help

The one immediate thing that helped my neck swelling was giving up gluten. No cheating! Gave up gluten and the pressure on my throat decreased significantly the next day and continued. Yes, you need a doctor, but there are many changes to diet that can be done to stop the thyroid being attacked.

Research hashimoto root cause and it will give you lots of diet help. Soy is another one to avoid and soy is in a LOT of processed foods. You may even be triggered by dairy. These are also things a regular doctor will not bother to discuss with you so you must take control of this and help stop your body attacking itself. No cheating on the gluten. It can take six months or more to really make a difference and one lil cheat will take you back to day one again. Good luck!

Check on line foryour local area, there are free clinics you can go to.  I highly recommend you do not wait.  It takes a while with all the process lab tests, medication, etc.
