Davey, are you CKD stage 3 or stage 4, for instance what are your eGFR and creatinine levels?  Whilst it would be unusual to experience symptoms at stage 3a or 3b, it could be a possibility at stage 4, especially at the lower end of stage 4.

Perhaps you could describe the symptoms that you are experiencing, then others also at the lower stage can help from their own experiences.

    Stage 3, nothing

    Stage 4, slight lethargy

I am at stage 5 now, and I still have very few signs to show I have CKD. The only things I have noticed are gritty eyes, foamy urine and tiredness, as well as a metallic taste in my mouth at times, so I don't think you can expect anything too dramatic.

Sorry to hear about your condition, but we're all in the same boat here; I only joined a few days ago and everyone has been so helpful.

    God bless you.

No symptoms other then getting out of breath quicker when training. Stage 5 is when I noticed nausea and migraines coming on randomly and sometimes water retention which comes n goes.

I am at stage 4 now but since stage 3 I have suffered from severe fatigue, painful bones and joints, needing to pee several times during the night, dry eyes, headaches (particularly in the mornings), dry skin and bloating.  However, I am also underweight and I also suffer from severe vitamin d deficiency (<8) so my symptoms could also be related to those.  I hope you feel better soon and get the support you need Davey xxx Can I ask how old you are Davey and do you suffer from any other disorders?  I am 41.

dry skin, bloated. swellung, pee several times during nght . high blood pressure. and i also suffer from Vitamin D deficiency.

    Hi guys,

Hope it's ok to jump in.

I'm 44 and have been experiencing some symptoms of; fatigue, light headed (if I don't stop when this comes on it turns into full dizzyness) some times chest/upper back pain, sweating, nausia, achy arms and legs and itchy skin (mostly hands and arms)

Fatigue, nausia and dizzyness are everyday the rest come and go.

I am currently on 3 medications for severe hypertension.

I'm currently waiting for the results of a 24hr urine test.

I guess I'm just looking for others that can relate as kind of in limbo at the moment (and off sick from work again!)
