Taken too much Vensir XL 150mg

Posted , 3 users are following.

I am been on 2 x 75mg Vensir XL Prolonged Release hard capsules for a few months, but did not realise until today that for the last month, that my prescription had been changed to 150mg and I have been taking 300mg for the last month!   I have noticed that I am really tired and sweating loads, do you think that I have done any permanent damage, my mood has been extremely low, will it be safe to just start taking one tomorow morning?   Any advice would be appreciated!

    Hi

Personally i would book a Dr appointment straight away and explain before you go back to the proper dose as you might get more side affects.

    All the best.

You took 75x2 medication then you were increased to 150mg, that is the same dose.

You then took 150x2 that was 300mg by error.

I this is the case you have misred your script, return to 150mgx1.

I your GP has doubled your dose 300mg, you will be getting contraindiations

until the new dose is in your system, about four or five weeks.

You need to confirm your dose, with surgery or chemist etc

Let us know how you get on

just carry on till u seen your doc,its probly why you are feeling the way you are and if you been taking them for a few week they might need to reduce them slowly so you might not get any side effects, you will be fine but the docs need to have a word with themselves, lucky its nothing major, bad practice that is
