When I take it at night for pain it work well. But can feel tired In the morning but can still do things maybe at a slower pace, dry mouth the usual this. Can be come tired easier at the end of the day but that could also be the effect of my other meds.

Concerned if I take it in the morning and again that night like a double dose I one day and what would that do on me???

It's hard to say exactly but the 1st dose should have worn off by evening (it would for me) and I know I would be ok taking another dose in the evening but I've been taking Amitriptylline for about 10 years so I've built up a certain amount of tolerance.

I would say be careful then especially as you have a little one to look after. Might be wise to speak to your pharmacist or GP first.
