Tension headache

Hi I'm Ian been going to the gym and everything was ok for first few weeks but lately when I work out lifting weights when I push my self to do a rep the back of my neck at head just gets tighter and tighter like it's gna xplode and then soon after would bring on panic attacks stomach discomfort and feel anxcious for the rest of the day . Gone that bad I dnt even wana go back to the gym I'm that afraid . Just wondering y this is hopping and what can I do to try prevent it from happening. Thanks for listning

    You are working out all wrong and yiu are going to do yourself a serious injury. See a bio-mechanic. Mine is an expert witness for mainly men  who gave been taught by trainers to do exercise incorrectly.

    Exercise to the point where it hurts is correct. If you don't hold a position for 15 seconds you are doing harm. It's about getting it right. See a bio-mechanic now.

      Hi whiterabbit17 thanks for your reply . I've been in the gym before I no what I'm doing .this just happend recently after starting back up . I no the feeling from working out in the gym but this is a whole different level .I've been told it could be low blood sugar not enough water or just doing to much without take the right rest in between . I haven't been back yet still a bit on edge about it

    hi ian, your not alone..i got your symptoms..but the good news i feel better now..all my symptoms gone including anxiety and panic attacks..i have done all the test in hospital and to my gp doctors but it came all normal and a lot of them told me that its all anxiety related that causing my symptoms..i was not convinced, idid some reasearch about my symptoms and i found out about CERVICOGENIC HEADACHES..i went to a CHIROPRACTOR CLINIC..and my chiro found out that i am suffering CERVICAL FACET DYSFUNCTION WITH MILD CERVICOGENIC HEADACHES that causing my symptoms(dizziness, blurry vision,pressure at the back of my neck and head, difficulty swallowing, anxiety,panic attacks,agoraphobia,)

    thanks God i feel better now..thanks to my Chiropractor..
