Throbbing in neck

for the past few weeks I randomly experience a throbbing on the left hand side of my neck, it's quite an intense sensation and it makes my anxiety kick in really bad. I does hurt almost like cramp. I have been to my GP who does not think I have anything to worry about, I've also had blood tests done and they have all come back ok. Is happening quite bad tonight and I wondered if anyone else gets this?

    Could it be muscle tightness do you think. A visit to a Physio would be able to check this for you. Xxx

    I have not come across this, but I would go back to your GO and insist on a referral. Also, when it is non acute do some very gentle neck yoga. There are lots of videos on youtube. This may help relax the nerves and muscles.
