Hi guys, Im sixteen and for a while now I have suffered from tight foreskin. Ithas never been a bother until the last couple of months. I am in a relationship and have been for 6 months, I am sexually active and in the last 2-3 months after intercourse or masturbation I have suffered from small lacerations on my foreskin. It isnt sore at the time, but after it is red and inflamed and really sore. It becomes a bother when trying to clean the area, I can easily move the foreskin back when my penis is flaccid but when erect it is virtually impossible and very sore. I have tried to stop masturbating for weeks however as soon as i pull my foreskin back when erect the cuts reappear. Any help would be appreciated, I dont think it is an STD and I would love to avoid circumcision if there are any solutions, thanks

I belive this is a very common problem - only last year a friend told me her son had the same thing, and I said to her what I'm going to say to you now, that it's best to consult a doctor. There is absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. Your sex life is very imprtant to you, and of course every doctor knows that. So go ahead. Don't hesitate. I certainly wouldn't. Good luck :o)

I can understand your hesitance but believe me circumcision will solve your issues with many other benefits as well.

Im very sorry to hear of the issue here. First of all may I ask why you are dead against circumcision?..it doesnt make you any less of a man you know? - please dont think its easy for me to say as im a woman!!..i know this is a very delicate issue, but as you are still growing, how do you think this problem will cease without any medical intervention?. I dont believe sex will be pleasurable for you either. I know adult men who have had this problem, after circumcision it has made them a whole world happier and the sex life brilliant. In actual fact, medically its considered cleaner and much more hygienic to be circumcised, men also 'last' a lot longer in the bedroom dept than men who are not circumcised too..no, im not kidding and im not saying this to get on your good side. Your Dr may prescribe some creams to try and thin out the skin, it wont work!. Cicrumcision is your best option, you wont feel a thing and you'll heal beautifully. And im confident that you will wish that you had done this years ago.
I had the same issue with my son, at the age of 3. He was circumcised at the age of 8, it has made a huge difference. I wish you luck, i hope that you over come the shyness, millions of young men and boys have this problem- go and see your GP, any GP..the steroid creams are not of much help, im being honest. If you were my son, I would strongly advise you to have the circumcision. This is the medical reson that it is there for and you will go on to be a lot more comfortable and happier with your tickle tackle ;-) good luck
