Ok, i been with Tinnitus for 3 yrs. Recently I made the mistake to go to a loud place, my T went up with a piercing high pitch noise higher than the one i had and was used to it, celestone a anti inflamatory shot helped a bit but it has gotten to square one again, i should have hearing loss but surprisingly i havent lost my hearing at all, i am very confused as to wheather i have noise induced tinnitus or just something else that causes T, need an opinion, i have a high pitch noise in my left ear and now my right started to sound just a bit lower than my left, any opinions?

Hi Ray, go and see an audiologist that specialises in tinnitus. They can test your hearing at higher frequencies where the tinnitus can occur, than is usually performed in a routine hearing test. If they are concerned, they will send you back to your GP for a referral to an ear specialist. Good luck!!

I have already done an audio test and cameout bad on the left but lower in the right, the thing is, i already saw a specialist ENT, he is pretty good, the first time i seen him he seemed to know what he was doing abd diagnosed me with otitis media, which i took a treatment for, he gave me some antibiotics, and anti inflamatory meds, he gave me a celestone shot which is an anti inflamatory and steroid mixture and it helped a great deal, i also took actron which is iboprofen for pain and also an anti inflamatory/fever med, i an also taking ginko which is called Taebonin here in Mexico, and i also have been taking Zirtech for m6 allergies, but what i have noticed is tgat that celestone shot helped me more than anything and almost inmediately, it can be frustrating to not know what really caused it, i am supposed to be losing my hearing, hut after all these years 3, i have lost no audio at all, so i am very intrigued, need some other opinions but thank you so much for your advise olizzieo!

I am having the same problems and at the beginning of my search.  Will be interested to see how others are treated and if the noise stays away.

Mine will get diminished with that celestone shot, but it wont go away completly, since i hurt my ear again it is very sensible to high pitch noises, and the noise in tight on my eardrum which is a torture, i can deal with the head noise but the eardrum noise is high pitch and annoying! I think its inflamated so im thinking of another celestone shot.
