Unexplained symptoms

My general physician is going to send me to a neurologist because I'm having tingling in the face mainly around my mouth and around ny eyes and he has ruled everything out.I also have trouble controlling my bladder at times. But I don't have any issues with my gait.

And I also have hashimotos. Does one autoimmune disorder give you higher chances to develop another?

Laura I have tingling in my face as well kind of feels like bee stinging your face and as well Iv have issues where I'll seat down and I feel like I've peed on myself and my stomach has got to the point where I can no longer hold it at times. But I can no longer walk heel to heel and I can barely walk 2-5 days out of month though. They have ruled everything out on me as well and called it Conversion Disorder. So in Dec I'm going to Cleveland Clinic to see if they can find anythung. I see stars some times, feels like my arm is being stabbed by a needle,my legs get electric shocks,I am starting to forget  at times I can't even remember the security and safe codes at work. I sometimes feel like I can't remember how to move my legs. I hope you find help on what's wrong with you!

I've heard many people living with MS say that if you have one autoimmune disorder, you're likely to get more.

I've been living with MS for the last 3 years, and as of yet I've not been diagnosed with another autoimmune illness. To make things even more complicated, I know people that have several and I know people that have only one.

Hi, I think your GP has made the right referral, so whatever it is , you can be helped. I think your best to wait before worrying about MS, your symptoms dont reflect the usual first signs of MS, but then no two people are the same. Hope they find out what your problem is, and you can recieved treatment.

Hello, I have tnj neuralgia and more recently tingling in the mouth and lips. You could have tnj too has your Dr mentioned it? It's a haw problem. Hashimoto cones with kidney issues doesn't it? Have you been checked for that? Otherwise I would say yes I think low immune and MS walk hand in hand. My glands swelled up long before my MS diagnosis and i was never told why just given antibiotics. Good luck
