Hi, thank you for reading my post. I appreciate it's a bit long but I am desperate for some sort of help, relief or pointed in the right direction, suggestions and advice also Welcome. If I have left anything out or confused anyone please let me know.

I am currently experiencing what I would refer to as the worst experience of my life which has been on going now for 2 years+. I am a otherwise and always previously fit and healthy 28 year old male.

I have a persistent and on going pain inside of my urethra, that is there all the time. The pain is so intense it stops me from doing things, as well as sitting/laying or wearing certain ways and thing. it feela like something is stuck/missing from inside, it is a very peculiar sore sensation that seems to extend a feeling of numbness along my uretha an inch or so along from the opening down. Due to this numbness and the severe pain I feel like I have very little to no sensation in my penis when I am trying to get sexually aroused. Because i have little to no sensation i cannot get or maintain an erection. If I do manage to ejaculate, it hurts like crazy and feels like my opening and inch or so into the urethra are going to tear apart. urinating feels like i am weeing over sliced open fresh wounds. And I often have to stop and start stream, very occasional two steams upon ejaculation and urination. I have previously had blood in my urine but not for awhile now. Proven by dip stick test at Dr s on several past occasions. Right now feels like I have a hole or a tiny pebble inside burning away. (it's hard to distinguish between something being missing or something pressing so close to the walls being stuck)

I was originally referred by gp and seen at a and e about two years ago, when I come down very ill with stabbing pains in my lower back just under ribs and a bursting type sensation in my urethra followed by blood. as well as centre leg pains and yes problems, systematically I felt overwhelmed. Coughing and blood in phlegm. Hospital presumed kidney stones. And I was told I probably had some sort of virus. Bloods and a ct scan came back abnormal. (Ct showing bilateral pelvic calcifications) and several bloods were off. Kept in for a week. Then discharged saying no stones and had to have a cystoscopy, again cystoscopy revealed no stones blocking my urethra. This was extremely painful. After being adamant that I was in severe pain and convinced something must be present in my urethra to cause the symptoms. I asked for a second opinion and was referred to a London hospital.

Consultant had a visual glance and said he couldn't see anything, also ordered a ct and a penis Doppler (blood flow into penis) both came back fine. I saw another urologist at the department (as it's with a member of the team rather than a set person) and this guy didn't even look, just stayed that he thought I should do some physiotherapy. Again I tried to state how painful this was for me and how it affected my daily life, how I could not maintain or get an erection the painful ruination the uncomfortable burning and hope type sensations. And again stated there in my opinion had to be a physical cause inside my urethra. He said he would order another cystoscopy to look for tears. In the meantime I had been regularly visiting my go as the pain had become quite unbearable, I was giving zapain and some viagra (which does not help) and after a few visits the head gp took a look and said he could see scar tissue and what he thought was a tear at the opening that ran as far as he could see inside the urethra. And got me an appointment within 5 days at the London hospital, again I saw the same urologist as before and he looked and also agreed it was a tear and said he would refer me for surgery.

I got a letter for surgery and attended the appointment to realise when I was there that it was for cystoscopy and not urethral repair. When I told them about the mistake and the appointment with the urologist they were very rude. I then asked the receptionist to print a copy of my last consultation with my urologist, she did and to my surprise it was the first consultation that I had, and there was nothing on the system for the most recent consultation, in fact at this point the receptionist said I hadn't an appointment on that day at all. Which was clearly incorrect and I could evidence this bybappointment letters. I then went to speak to the manager, and stated to her that there was an issue with my medical records not being correct, as the date of my consultation with the urologist did not match the actual appointment. and the actual appointment where the tear was disccused is not there at all. She then took me back to the surgery ward and got the head surgeon to see me, the head surgeon looked at my urethral opening and again agreed he could see a tear. And that it would require 2 and a half hour operation and using tissues from my gums for the repair. I was happy that I thought now the problem would finely get resolved and that my pains would all soon be over. The head surgeon said he would get a appointment booked the following day to have a surgery date booked and the procedure explained to me. When I returned 24 hours and saw the urologist ( the guy I saw the first time, my actual urologist) he had a 2 second look at my uretha and said he couldn't see anything. I was of course devastated and demanded a second opinion as at this point I could no longer life with the pain, or inability to go to the toilet properly. I spoke to the hospital manager and asked what was going on that it was only 24 hours earlier I was told I had a year and required surgery. She said that the audio tape for the appointment I had with the second consultant was indistinguishable and therefore they could not update the appointment on the system to show what had been discussed, and therefore the information we lost. As the urologist was an American urologist and had returned it could not be verified if he had seen the year and requested surgery. ( no explanation was giving as to why the dates of the appointments has been changed, to make it look like the most recent appointment was the first one and not the second appointment) i was told this would be rectified and the dates changed. Unfortunately nothing could be done about the information. She then said that she would refer me to another urologist in the department.

I have just waited an agonising and painful month and a half to wait to see this other urologist, I have found my symptoms and lack of sensation to have been getting worse. And fear that I may have to live in this pain forever if no one is going to help, that I may never have sex again, or father children. And I'm only 27. It's so frustrating to be told they have found the problem and to fix it and then change there minds not once but twice. And I'm becoming to feel hopeless about it ever being resolved, the problem is I'm in so much pain I don't know how to cope with it on a constant daily basis.

On today's appointment the urologist before even speaking to me, whisked through my previous records, the incorrect and wrongly dated one's. The ones where the year being referred for surgery gone missing. And then literally having a brief 2 second look not even touching or moving to have a through investigation of where I'm complaining about. States he couldn't see anything. When I stated that the pain I was experiencing, stopping and starting streams when urinating, the hole burning stuck sensation, and the erectile problems. Located in the same place that two urologists and a Dr plus myself had all seen a tear at this point. He then asked how many men's penises I had seen and what experience I had with penises. (To which I thought he was taking the p*ss) i then again said that my dr and the two other urologists had seen the tear, he then stated that what i was saying was not on my records. I told him about the problems with the audio tape and he just shrugs it off like im bullsh*tting. Again i go on to ask him as his such a specilised individual that has so many years experience with mens penisses and is now contradicting three other specialists plus what i can see visually at home. what he thinks is causing all the pain, the sensations, the numbness, the razor urinating and the erectile problems, if not this visible tear, and he said that he thought they were normal sensations that I was mis interpretating. What sort of cop out is that, is that some mild way I saying I thinks I'm making it up, or I'm illusioning it , I found it rather insulating that he or the hospital would believe I would travel 2 hours to get to London and then sit there for an hour to see the guy and then have him insult me, just because I'm bored or want to get some attention. What the he'll sort of service is that, I'm genuinely and seriously in a lot of pain and distress, and I can't even get anyone to take me serious, of course each appointment that goes negativly against me is recorded and does not seem to go missing, which means when I get a second opinion or referee on its going to give an impression of me and my problem which is untrue and incorrect. I have become really frustrated and annoyed, as well as concerned and afraid I will not get any help and will suffer until either the problem gets so bad I have very serious problems, or for the rest of my life of the problems persist at the same rate they currently are.

I can assure everyone I am perfectly sane, and experiencing very real and very worrying symptoms and pains. Which I can not continue to live with, I feel I have no quality of life and no future living miserable in pain all the time unable to have sex or have a family. I would like to point out that I do have a child from a previous relationship which lasted about 7 years and never did I have any of these problems then.

If anyone has any suggestions or advice of how or where to go about getting this issued resolved or taken care of I would be eternally grateful. I seem not to be getting any help from this hospital and they seem more concerned about covering up there mistakes than offering any help.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

If you have been fully tested you could try CRANBIOTIC it worked for me to help releave the pain and reestablish the urethas natural defenses. 2 caos a day with a meal was a great find for me.

Hi, I really hope you read this message because I'm experiencing almost the exact same symptoms except the ED and numbness. I have a very clear lesion just inside my urethra that refuses to heal and gives me sharp pains every time I go to the toilet of ejaculate that feel like I'm passing a razor.

I've also been bounced around between urologists and GPs for the last two years and eventually just given up on (though I'm going back to my GP on Monday to push my case).

I'd love to talk to you about what you've been told and compare symptoms and experiences and see if we can shed some light on each others situations.

Let me know if you'd like to talk.
