I have it in one eye and I will find out tomorrow if it is now in the other. I think it is. Lines in the Amsler Grid are beginning to look just a tiny bit wavy and once during the night, I woke up seeing a good-sized black ball in that eye.

We macular degeneration is dry that has turned wet. Google it. Blood vessels begin growing underneath the retina. Not good. If you haven't, you need to see your ophthalmologist immediately who will send you to a retinal specialist. This cannot be cured, but can be treated so that you will not lose anymore vision than you already have. Don't waste any time taking care of this.

The tech at the retinal specialist's office told me some things that were completely different from what I had understood. She said dry mac continues even after you have wet mac and it is the dry mac that continues to cause distortions, etc.!  It's the etc. that bothers me. The other day I drove my car for the last time. I had great difficulty staying in the correct lane because I could barely see the white lines. For several days I noticed an extremely blurry spot in my left eye. So blurry I could not recognize my dau's face. When I shifted my gaze, her face became clear. The blurriness is not as noticeable today. I have seen blank spots as well. A car could be in one as well as a pedestrian, so I really do not think I should drive and that is very difficult to accept. I intend to pin this retinal spealist down today. I was under the impression that the shot of Avastin would stop any further vision loss. I continue to see loss of vision. This tech told me to continue taking the vitamins because they help 25% of the people. Right.
