10 ways to get 10-minute workouts

One of the top excuses or reasons people use for not exercising is that they just simply don't have time. Work, kids, and life in general seem to always take priority over our health and many people struggle to find a 60-minute chunk of time to devote to exercise. If that sounds like you, then rest assured that exercise does not have to happen all at once.

If you are new to exercise or come from a sedentary lifestyle, several short workouts throughout the day are proven to be just as effective as one long duration workout, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

For many people, there is just not enough time in a day to work out for 30 to 60 minutes in one go. The good news is that fitting in three to six 10-minute sessions performed here and there when you can is a more realistic expectation that you are likely to stick to in your busy schedule.
