Orange blossom bath oil
£22, by Ortiga, 020-7730 2826
Luxurious bath oil from Sicily with a highly aromatic scent containing neroli and citrus. Gorgeous, woody aroma that leaves your skin feeling both pampered and moisturised. Guilty indulgence or great gift.
Oriental body glistening oil
£8, by Champneys, from Sainsbury's, 0800 636262
A dry body oil with jojoba, sesame and rice bran oils. Leaves skin sleek, but I wasn't too keen on the watery consistency - this made it tricky to apply. But it has a nice aroma and gives a subtle, bronze sheen.
Organic Chinese geranium anti-ageing night oil
£21.99, by Skincare Café, 0870 443 2744
Organic essential oils that promise to help repair skin as you sleep. Feels comforting and nourishing. Best for night use, so you don't leave the house with a shiny face. Easily absorbed and not too greasy.
Moor lavender body oil
£18, by Dr Hauschka, 01386 792642
My favourite. Looks like a robust French dressing - a custard-creamy consistency with a tangy aroma of essential oils and subtle overtones of lavender. Blends in quickly and leaves you wanting to apply more. Definitely moor-ish.
5 stars Nail treatment oil
£10, by Paul & Joe, from Fenwicks, 020-76299161
The pretty deco packaging does it every time, regardless of whether or not you believe a light oil can rid your nails of ridges and grooves. This gave my nails a glossy sheen; good as a prep before applying varnish.
Rose facial oil
£18, by Neal's Yard, nealsyardremedies.com
Calming and moisturising oil with rose wax, geranium and grapeseed. I wouldn't say it helped to reduce any of my fine lines, as it promises to do, but it does feel extremely soothing. And it's perfect for drier skin.
