How to make sweet and sour sauce


2 tbsp. ketchup

1 tbsp. soy sauce

1 tbsp. corn starch

2tbsp. white wine vinegar

2 tbsp. brown sugar

¼ tsp. salt

120ml water


- Add the ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, salt and water into a saucepan. Heat on medium and stir. Bring to a boil

- Then stir the corn starch with a tablespoon of water. Add to the saucepan and stir until the mixture thickens

- Once it has thickened enough remove from the hob and place the sauce in a small serving bowl. Let it cool for 10 minutes and adjust the flavour with salt if needed
