Soy-glazed salmon

A simple recipe that is packed with good fats. Spice it up with a mix of soy sauce, garlic and tomato puree.


  • 1 salmon fillet
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon tomato puree
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C.

Put the salmon onto a baking tray. Mix the soy sauce, tomato puree, garlic, ginger and sugar together. Brush the mixture over the top of the salmon and pop in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked. This topping also works well with trout fillets.

Serve with stir fried vegetables.
