The principal aim of Barrett's Wessex is to reduce the number of deaths to oesophageal cancer through raising awareness of its predominant pre-cancerous lesion, Barrett's Oesophagus by:

  • Raising public awareness of Barrett's in the region and beyond.
  • Providing support to sufferers and their families.
  • Raising funds to enable the Barrett's Oesophagus Campaign to achieve its stated objectives.
  • Raising funds for local initiatives.

They attempt to cover the whole Wessex area, although anyone from outside the area who supports their aims is welcome to join.
