The Dysautonomia Society of Great Britain is an independent charity, registered with the Charity Commission. It is the British chapter of the Dysautonomia Foundation of the USA.

Their mission is:

  • To alleviate the suffering from Familial Dysautonomia in any way.
  • To raise public awareness of the disease.
  • To invite and receive donations for the above objectives.

Familial Dysautonomia is also known as Riley-Day syndrome and hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy type III. It is a neurodegenerative genetic disorder primarily affecting individuals of Ashkenazi Jewish descent.
