3. Don't get over-tired
Migraines are often triggered by a poor night's sleep. Try to wake up and go to bed at the same time every day (even at weekends) and, if you have to sleep during the day, keep it short as this can interfere with sleeping that night.
4. Exercise regularly
Physical activity releases chemicals that help block pain signals to your brain, as well as helps to reduce anxiety and depression, which can make migraines worse. However, if you're starting an exercise programme for the first time, begin slowly as over-exertion can trigger migraines.
