5. Pamper yourself
When we're feeling blue, it's easy to neglect ourselves. If you're feeling down, try treating yourself to a manicure, new hairstyle or a fun piece of jewellery. Small changes and treats can reignite our sense of self-worth.
6. Apply pressure
Many believe that in order to keep our body and mind in tune, we need to maximise our energy flow. The practice of acupressure has identified several points at which 'blockages' can occur. For relief of depressive symptoms, try applying light pressure to the point on the bridge of your nose (known as the third eye) whilst breathing deeply.
