Tip 3 to 5
3. Say no to someone or something and say yes to yourself
This is the part where you ask yourself: "What can I get rid of or say no to?" One of the best ways to ensure you get an hour to yourself each day, is to schedule an activity that allows you to say no to others and yes to yourself.
Take that cooking class you've wanted to take for ages, go to a yoga class, join a book club or knitting group. The key here is to find something you can commit to several times a week.
4. Take time for yourself in intervals
Taking time for yourself doesn't have to be done all at once. Find 15 minute intervals throughout the day to take a breather and engage in activities you like.
5. Wake up an hour before you normally would
You might have to create the time you need by going to bed earlier and getting up 30 minutes to an hour earlier than normal. Mornings are often a great time to read, meditate, exercise, knit, do crosswords or Sudoku, and many other activities.
