This is simply bread that's been made without raising agents like yeast. Examples include Mexican tortilla wraps, Indian breads like chapattis that can be made from wheat flour, gram flour, maize flour or millet flour, and unleavened flatbreads like matzo.
One plain matzo provides just over 100 kcal, and chapattis vary in their calorie content depending on the amount of fat added to the dough, or on serving. Tortilla wraps can give you between about 90 and 180 kcal, depending on the size. Parathas are deep fried spiced or stuffed unleavened Indian breads - if you're choosing this in a restaurant, ask for it to be shallow fried, or better still, baked in a tandoor.
