Hummus is delicious and really easy to make. It's a perfect party food and it make great side dish to so many main meals.
- 400g can of chickpeas
- 2 tbs of fresh lemon
- 1 clove of crushed garlic
- A pinch of salt
- 4 tbs of olive oil
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1 tsp of cumin
- 2 tsp of water
- 200ml of tahini
Drain the can of chickpeas and empty into your food processor with all the other ingredients Blitz until it's nearly smooth... It's that easy.
I'm using 400g but if you want to make less hummus, just halve it and use one can, which is 200g.
Finishing touches and serving it up
To finish off the hummus, drizzle some olive oil and a little sprinkle of paprika on the top.
Serve with warm pitta bread and crudités.
Store in refrigerator for three days
