How to make white sauce



Ingredients

600 ml of semi-skimmed milk

50g butter

50g plain white flour

Salt and pepper

Method


- Melt the butter in a sauce pan

- Then stir flour into the pan for 2 minutes

- Take the pan off the hob and whisk in the milk, then place back on the hob. Reduce the heat

- Let the mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes

- Season with salt and pepper depending on the taste you want
