What even is life? Is existing the same as living?

Hello Dondons. No existing is not living for me. I have done both and I would much rather be living. Living is when life flows for me and I have a sense of peace and some sense of stability. Existing for me is getting up in the morning tired and going through the motions of living and a lot of the time for people that I love.  It's not bad to do that for my loved ones but it's not loving freely with my emotions engaged. You can tell I have been there. Does that help? Diane

It's my birthday tomorrow, I'm dreading it but I have to try to act happy for my children as the little ones are excited about it and my eldest daughter has planned lunch out or something but all I want to do is stay at home, preferably in bed! I hate it! Christmas, birthday, new year! I hate it all!

Hey Dondons I'm so sorry that you have to put on a happy face for everyone when all you want to do is get in bed and cover up your head. Been there done that. I have a friend that says when depression hits "buy new sheets and take to the bed" and that's my sentiments exactly closely followed by good movies and bad for me food. I think I could give a list of the best tasting food that will do you in while tasting over the top good but feeds my depression. Works short term.

Hope you pull out of it soon. And of course we will be here. Diane
