Posted , 5 users are following.

Hi,

I’m on day 11 (am on 125 mg and upped twice from 50 to 100 and from 100 to 125) and I feel so awful. Nausea, fatigue, anxiety over the roof, a feeling inside of have been drinking 6 pots of coffee. It’s just horrible.

Does any of you sweet people that’s went through this have any reassuring words?

Thanks SO much.

I'm 5 weeks in on sertraline after changing from citalopram as they stopped working. 2 weeks on 100mg and anxiety is worse side effects are awful but we just need to give these tablets time to work. I was on citalopram for 7 years and they stopped my anxiety for a long time then just stopped working x

Have you felt any relief during the weeks you were in 50 mg? And how about now? I’m only on day 2 of 125 mg and really feel rubbish.

      Hi Debra

Think I replied regarding the detached thing on another thread.

Yes I get scared to go out. Stopped driving some years ago after a panic attack on the motorway. I now have massive problems with getting in cars and buses! I am attempting to keep doing this but its really hard x

Have the symptoms got worse the higher the dose? I wonder if you should talk to your Dr about reducing the dose until your symptoms stabilise. I do not believe things always improve for people after six weeks etc. The drug just may not agree with you.

Hi monna I’ve been back on paroxatine now for the past 6wks. And I still feel like ure feeling.its so scary. Do u feel like u can’t be bothered to do anything or not even go out because of the way you feel. That’s how I am and all I want to do is lay on my bed. Either reading, watching tv or playing games on my fone just to try and take my mind off it.

    Hello!

I’m 4 weeks in at 50mg. That’s been my dose since the beginning. I’ve had some pretty s****y days. Constant dizziness, nausea, anxiety, palpitations.... the list goes on lol. However, I’ve recently had some great days where I almost feel like jumping up with joy through my day because I haven’t felt that way in what seems like forever! But my excitement has been short lived because I’ve had some recent bad days. Yesterday and today seem to be going ok though. Basically what I’m trying to say is that it WILL GET BETTER!!! My dose is not as high as yours and I don’t think I’ll increase because it seems to be ok at this level. Maybe you’re on too high of a dose?
