15 day !!!

Hi i have been on 20mg of oral liquid prozac for 15 days,   not feeling any better , tired out all the time , i am on it to help with hot flusers as i am going through the menapause, rearly cannot see it has help so far !!   has anyone been on it for the same reason with success ,thank-you !!

    although i wasnt prescribed fluoxetine for hot flushes boy do i know what you are going through!! i am 49 and massively on the 'change' it really affected my life but as for prozac ive been on it now for 17 weeks and life is good again but it does take time after 2 weeks i felt tired, sick, spaced out you name it i had the side effects please stick with it hang in there sue things will get better, keep in touch and let me know how your doing love sharon xxx

    Ps i forgot to mention i am on HRT which has helped immensely ... hope this helps sue, good luck sharon

      Hi many thanks if you dont mind what HRT are you on, i had a hysterectomy 7 years ago, womb and cervix removed,

    Im on Ellesre Duet 1mg - its made all the difference to my life Sue ( as well as fluoxetine) but i have no hot flushes any more its wonderful, hope this helped love sharon xx

      Hi sorry have you had a hysterectomy,  not sure if i can take them if you have no womb, not rearly sure ,

      No havent had a hysterectomy maybe ask your Dr if they are still as effective if you have love sharon xx
