herbal or essential oil are really dangerous to take . please do not use them .just some is natural does not mean its go for you . some of world most deadly toxins are natural. best i found for hot flushes are wearing lightweight clothes and drinking plenty of water. at night i found a company called cucumber sleep wear that deal with the sweating. hope this helps

essential can be damaging to the skin and should never be used internal. the skin can very sensitive to many compounds found is some essential oil. i not how much chemistry you know , essential are made of lots of different compounds and in the oil from can be quite concentrated.
if you like the smell it best to put in diffuser or put on underside of pillows.
i personally find the smell give me headaches . i always stay from herbal medicine and supplements and essential oils as there very little scientific evidence they are effective . the also hard to what exactly you are getting. i no way an expert. i would always suggest speaking with a doctor or nurse before taking or using anything.
Hope this helps
