3 stone weight gain

So I’ve had my gall bladder removed in 2016 and till present day I have gained 3 stone . I have been eating healthy so I don’t know why I have put on so much, I’ve been to the doctors about it and they arnt concerned and say there is nothing they can do. Has anyone else been through this? I’ve recently purchased some enzyme tablets from a health shop to see if it will make a difference just going to take one with my main meal. It’s really starting to get to me because I can see I’ve put loads of weight on and I’ve had to go up two dress sizes so it’s cost a fortune to replace my whole wardrobe, I feel it has made me very unfit

Hi there ! well I am looking forward to putting back on the weight I have lost which is nearly 2 stone I am now skinny so I will take some of your weight ! not funny though if you are thinking you are unfit so maybe try eating smaller meals and often and of course the right foods . I haven't eaten properly for at least 6 months always in pain and getting rather fed up with it all .anyway hopefully your enzymes may work to break down the fats probably take a few more I may try those again I have used them in the past .take care 💐

Hi Caz, sorry to hear you going through this. It must be so frustrating. I am only two weeks post op but am quite bloated and digestion is VERY slow. I lost about three stone prior to surgery but I am quite worried about weight gain too. Seen others saying similar things on other gallbladder posts.

Heard people talking about digestive enzymes and ox bile after gallbladder op so please let me know how you get on with the supplements.

I hope they improve things for you.
