Well what a journey I must say I read all the posts prior to the operation and thought NO I won't have any of these issues and OMG I appear to have had a lot of them.

week 1 Bed for the Week was awful

Week 2 couldn't sit down properly felt an awful lump at the back and very heavey tired sore emotional all the, time very little movment

Week 3 small movment could not sit down elevated all the time emotional ( why me sindrome)

week 4 starting to get more movment and pushing myself more, more comfy underneath stiches are not as bad now comeing away, pain only from wind, pushed myself to stay active this morning with small brakes only walking and tiding light things away making my lunch talking to the  nabours shower ect, by 2.30pm I was bodily tired and had two hours sleep, laid resting the same tomorrow.

i must not feel sorry for myself is the way I am feeling today.

i would like to thank Matron Phylis añd welshgirl for listening to me and being sympathetic and keeping me on the right track you are all insparasinol and are helping my recovery so thank you lady's.

the good news is slow progress but getting better💞, I hope this helps all the other ladies out there who are having a low moment.

    You are very welcome Gillian,

We have all been there and benefited from the support and help from all the lovely ladies on the forum, and hope that others will benefit too.

Good to hear things are going well even if a bit slow.

I had a 3 hour trip out in the city yesterday, bus journey half hour each way, spent an hour and half shopping, thought I would die, stopped for milk shake then another 15/20 mind shopping.

Once I had short break felt much better, and was fine when I got home. Today had my walk, 45 minutes, completely soaked will have 2 nd walk later, waiting for rain to go off !!!

Think I will cope with 2/3 hours on feet including my break on Sunday morning, still not sure about working on till though, still only managing to lift litre and a half of milk at most. 2 litre just too much, terrible lower back pain I'd I try and feels like painful springy suspension being overstretched.

Resting up too and hoping pelvic floor getting stronger.

It was good to get out shopping without hubby! Only got a pair of Sandles for holidays, been looking for tops, already got 1 pair of coloured jeans. Am now 1 size bigger than last year, been cutting down but really need to be more mobile, so buying bigger sizes, 😕😕😕.

Maybe by autumn will be back down a size with a lot of luck!

Use to always have half hour shopping time in city on way to work so been missing that, really great to be out and about !
