Hi Karen I understand you completely, I almost became crazy also thinking of me as an hypochondriac, but those symptoms are normal, my physiotherapist told me that I will feel normal in a year. Just after the surgery I used to look at my vagina constantly, frightened of a new prolapse... But with time things go better, just be patient and little by little...think that inner tissues need a lot of time to heal... Wish you the best

I had my surgery in Madrid, I did a lot of research until I found a gyn especialised in pelvic floor. it's a very sensitive area... Try not to think about it and put your mind in other things you like. If you can go to a physiotherapist, do it.

Now the stings and pain have gone but I have strange sensations like a weight inside at the end of the day, and I feel everything loose down there, and vaginal flarting. My physiotherapist said it is normal because of a very weak and undertoned pelvic floor, and rehab will be very useful for me. She has been doing massage only and this week we start fitball and kegel exercises ( I have been doing hypopresives daily for one month also) She promised I will be perfect in a year if I am constant with the exercise, I'll see... Little by little...

Hi Karen I had my op 7 months ago and still feel the effects, long works still make me ache down there I think may be up to 12 months to fully recover, listening to others on this amazing forum, so take things slowly x
