Hi, so I've been on flu for about 6/7 weeks, I think I'm over the side effects, but I am still having bad days and I don't think its improved my mood.

Hell Sjay, the Norfluoxetine metabolyte doesn't reach steady state until 11 weeks so I'd keep going until then and then maybe see your doctor about a dose increase. Did you get insomnia as a side effect? How long did it last?

Hi, dom, no I didn't get insomnia,my side effects were mood swings, irritability (which I still have now), dizziness, loss of appetite ( weight loss), increased anxiety, feeling tense mostly worse in the morning, also increased depression, hopelessness, worthlessness thoughts. It varies day by day though.

I would still give it 11 weeks Sjay, but just my opinion. Having said that it doesn't sound as tho' it is doing a lot for you. I'm on week 3 and it has drastically reduced my anxiety and panics, but now I have insomnia.

Just 20mg. It is early days for me. I was on it previously and it worked great, but made the mistake of quitting.

I eventually just felt "normal" last time. No more or less anxiety than any normal person. I slept okay. I was happy most of the time. Day 20 today for me and I just need my sleep to settle.
