I went to the doctors last month and they was no help what so ever.. All they done was told me to take a pregnancy test which I have done and it came back negative.. I am taking care of myself.

I am 39 and have had the same problem (unfortunately it was accompainied by debilitating cramps) since I was 11 (when I started). At 15 they put me on the pill which helped regulate me. However, I had to stop the pill due to my own medical issues.

Now I am having an Endometrial Ablation done (tomorrow) which will destroy the lining of my uterus. It will either stop the periods completely, or minimize them immensely. The downside is that I had to wait 20 years because of possible cancers that do not show signs until a woman is about 40.

I would recommend you keep talking to your dr, and don't take no for an answer. If need be, go for a second opinion, or a third...

There is always a solution... You just have to be persistent sometimes.
