I think in 2 weeks time the discomfort will have lessened even more but 40 minutes sitting in one position will still give you some discomfort. Have you tried a cushion (a thin one)?

I got one of those cushions with a hole in it but didnt really make much difference to be honest - i will try another thinner one and see if it helps - i cant be off work indefinitely so i need to get around this problem 😣

Hi hun, from the other posts I've read from other ladies matron

advised only to start back driving if you can stamp as hard ad you can on a soft surface with your foot without any pain. I wouldn't be driving hun if you are in any discomfort.. Your body is telling

you to slowdown.take it easy and good luck.xx

I had that problem a lot and used every pillow that I could find, donut, soft, memory foam etc. what I did find that helped was just the regular egg crate like foam. That worked better than all those other things I tried. I still have to rest my bottom even after 20 weeks now post op.

Thanks for posting this. I have started back drive and doing light gardening and I also find I get very sore down there. I have a small old cushion but try not to drive for too long. Will try foam.

Not what I want or need to read it these posts. I am almost 5 weeks and sore as hell down there. As going back to work after Easter all be it just half days I do need to drive and my job involves alot a sitting and some kneeling, so needed someone to post all ok after 6 weeks not still needing to rest my bottom after 20 weeks. Is this normal?

I found I couldn't sit comfortably for long periods until about 12 weeks
