I had the above 9 months ago and after a not too bad recovery, I knew that something was still not quite right. I had sone discharge, slight leakage and sex still painful so I went back to see my consultant and after urodynamics and cystoscopy she said I had a urethral caruncle and this was removed on 30th December. I know have small amount of blood, does anyone know if this us to be expected. No discomfort and no stitches.

Thank you matron, knew you would reassure me. Is it likely to last long

It shouldn't last long, the bleeding is just down to the trauma of the procedure. It can vary depending on how well you heal but can last on and off for a couple of weeks.
