Hi Lesley, I'm so sorry to hear this.  It sure makes it toughened you think you are on the mend and then you find out it's not so fast.  I think this is actually the critical time when we think things are improving and we want to do more...and then our body says STOP.  I am 4 weeks post ops as well and not improving as fast as I would want to but it is what it is and I simply have to lie down most of the day.  Better to take the time now than go backwards.  Listen to your body and give in to it as it is always smarter than our brains are.  I sure hear you and I sympathize. Take time.

    Hi Lesley,

I really feel for you. I'm 4 weeks post op and each time I try to do any little thing I get the awful dragging pain low in my abdomen. I really wish they would tell you this before surgery, but information is so vague and rather unrealistic. I do hope you feel better soon. Gosh 9 weeks in, I'm hoping to go back to work after 8 weeks, but I'm having second thoughts. Take care

      Hi Lesley,

Yes I know what you mean about the aching. Hope it all goes well with you going back to work. Just wish I knew realistically when it will improve. You just feel like you should be ok but it doesn't feel like that. Let me know how you go, good luck. Take care.
