To everyone who replied to my rather "sad" post the other day (!) can I say a huge thank you to all of you for your encouraging, kind and helpful replies. You are all so correct when you say everyone is different and we all heal at differing rates. I think I may have forgotten this in my desire to please my PT who, in any case, always looks as though she sucks lemons for a living! I am religiously doing those exercises twice per day (I even set an alarm for the pm session) and hope that when I see her again on 20th March, things will be much improved. At that time, I can say, in all honesty, that I have tried my very best. Again, thank you all.

You are so right, Roaring-girl - this is quite a difference experience for us all - for some it's more painful physically, whereas some will be more anxious mentally (that's me!) and there are so many aspects of it. The PT I had in hospital was so lovely and so encouraging and that made me want to do exceptionally well for him, as well as me, so perhaps I pushed it a bit too hard! But you're right! We do our best and should be proud of that. I think, to be honest, the fact that we're on this group, is a sign that we're wanting to do our best and there are people on here who are helping us do just that:-))) So a thank you from me too!

Well done roaring girl, this recovery isn't easy but it's great that you can look forward to positive days now. My pt always makes me feel I haven't tried hard enough, but like Chico said once we shouldn't worry too much what they say , just take on board what they're telling us & do the best we can, some people & some days are different , we just do our best. Good luck & take care x
