I am 17 years old. I am sexually active. About 4 months ago I had gotten something similar but it wasn't swollen or painful like it is now. They were small hard bumps that I only thought were just hair bumps but once they went away I kept developing similar in different spots down there. I went to the clinic for a pelivic exam to check for any STDs. Two weeks later they sent me mail and everything was negative. So still worrying I went to another clinic and was swabbed and later confirmed I had a bacteria vaginosis? So I was given antibiotics. Months later I was still getting these bumps ever so often. So I went back and was told I had bv again! Like I don't think it ever even went away from the start. So the bumps were getting frequent. This one now started out as the size of a pea. I have two other ones that are still small and not sore. But the swollen one is very sore when I touch it. It feels like a grape. Its kinda mushy but its still very hard and round. I'm going to go to another clinic and get tested for everything! I just don't want to keep popping up at the doctor. Its kind of embarrassing and it gives me anxiety.
Can anyone help. Is anyone else experiencing this? Do I need to bring up a possible problem to the doctor this time? I just don't know what's going on and really really need answers

BV can keep coming back, but some of these links may help:
https://patient.info/search.asp?searchterm=bacterial+vaginosis
There's also a BV forum:
https://patient.info/forums/discuss/browse/bacterial-vaginosis-264
In your position, I'd just go back to the clinic. They're doctors too, and this is what they specialise in. Sure, it's embarrassing, but it's better to get checked out, than be carrying something that's easily treatable.
Virgins can get BV too btw. Hope yours gets sorted soon. Good luck!
