A question....

Has anyone used Chinese herbs to help with the menopause? I was given some after visiting a Chinese herbalist but not comfortable taking them! I know it sounds daft.  I'd also recommend reflexology I have it every 8 weeks and feel great afterwards

Hi not tried Chinese herbs but would be interested to hear more about the reflexology. Do the effects last or are they short lived?

Well not sure to be honest but maybe I'd notice if I didn't have it done.  After my lady has finished she gives me a brief overview and my spine neck shoulders always come up as areas that are not clear.  First time I had it done after finding out I was perimenopause she picked up the usual bits but told me she had noticed some trigger points around my uterus so spent time on that area to get it balanced. Not sure if I'm using the correct terminology.  It helps with hot flushes by working on points connected to the thyroid and pituitary glands, nerve and blood supply for better circulation, as well as organs such as the uterus, the ovaries, and liver that can affect your hormone levels.
